Realtime Publishers (also known as Realtimepublishers.com or RTP) is a San Francisco-based content marketing and publishing company focused on supporting the IT industry. RTP publications focus mainly on IT topics, and chapters for each publication are released and posted as they are written. This concept of publishing in "real time" is intended to provide readers with up-to-date information on today's critical IT topics. All publications are offered free of charge to readers. [1]

Realtime Nexus Digital Library is a digital library containing the publications of Realtime Publishers. Provided free of charge to IT professionals, the library contains books, podcasts, articles and more.[2]
A typical RTP publication is sponsored by a corporation or other organization, which works with RTP to develop the concept and topical direction for a book. Realtime selects an author and develops the outline for each publication based on this topical direction. Although sponsors often provide fact-checking reviews, sponsors are not permitted to influence subjective material such as opinions and recommendations. Sponsors' products or services are not typically highlighted or given better placement than competing products and services.
The "real time" concept has the author writing approximately one chapter per month, which is then tech-edited, fact-checked, copy-edited, and then released. Different projects may adopt different schedules to accommodate authors' schedules and the complexity of the topic. All books and publications are distributed over Realtime Nexus Digital Library. Some publications are additionally distributed via the websites of the sponsoring organization.
Realtime Publishers' content marketing services include content production (eBooks, articles, audio, and video) as well as lead generation, lead nurturing, brand awareness, and thought leadership through distribution of each Realtime title.
RTP was founded by Sean Daily, who at the time wrote the monthly "Daily Answers" column, a Q&A-format column for what is now known as Windows IT Pro Magazine. The column led to RTP's Tips and Tricks Guide series of books, which use a similar format to present information.
Bailey Sory is the company's current CEO. Technology author and journalist Don Jones is the company's CTO and Series Editor.
